Why padel works so well for kids

Small court, underarm serve, light racket and walls that keep the ball in play. Padel is arguably the best first racket sport a child can try.

They rally on day one

Because the enclosure keeps the ball alive and the court is small, juniors get long rallies almost immediately. That instant feedback is why they ask to come back.

What age to start

From around seven, most children can hold a padel racket and play points. Younger than that, shorter sessions focused on movement and hand-eye games work better than full matches.

Our junior coaching runs in small groups so everyone hits plenty of balls, and rackets are provided. Family bookings are welcome outside coaching hours — the off-peak daytime rate is the cheapest way to try it.
